If you’ve ever dreamed of wandering through the streets of Rome, sipping wine in Tuscany, or riding a gondola in Venice, let me tell you—there’s nothing quite like experiencing Italy firsthand. And let me be the first to say, traveling with the right group makes it even better!
This past November(2024), I hosted an incredible multi-city group trip through Italy, and it was truly an adventure of a lifetime. We laughed, we ate (a lot), we explored, and most importantly, we created unforgettable memories together.
And guess what? We’re doing it again in 2026! So keep reading because if you have a love for luxury, culture, and stress-free travel, you’ll want to be part of the next one!

📍 Day 1: Rome – The Eternal City & The Best Cappuccino Ever
After flying from New York to Rome, we hit the ground running—because when in Italy, you make the most of every minute! We hopped on a train from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station, and of course, the first thing we did was… breakfast!
☕ Travel Tip: Skip the hotel breakfast and grab a cappuccino and cornetto (Italian croissant) at a local café instead. Italians stand at the bar, sip their espresso, and go. And trust me, it’s the best way to start your morning! And we know the perfect breakfast spot near Termini Station.
Then, we jumped on a train to Bologna for an overnight stay. While we had high hopes, Bologna didn’t quite steal our hearts, so after a quick city tour, we hopped on a bus back to Rome. But hey, that’s the beauty of travel—sometimes, places surprise you in unexpected ways!

🛶 Day 2: Welcome to Rome & Our First Italian Feast
Once back in Rome, we checked into our hotel, stretched our legs with a leisurely evening walk, and got ready for our welcome dinner—a mouthwatering meal that reminded us why Italian food is in a league of its own.
🍝 Travel Hack: In Italy, the best food isn’t found at touristy restaurants near major landmarks. I always take my groups to local, authentic spots where the food is made with love and the pasta is so fresh it melts in your mouth.

🎨 Day 3: Vatican, St. Peter’s & The Best of Rome
This was a BIG day—one of those "pinch me, I can’t believe I’m here" kind of days. We explored the Vatican Museums, admired Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, and thanks to our special group access, we skipped the long lines and walked straight into St. Peter’s Basilica like VIPs.
✨ Insider Tip: Many people don’t know this, but there’s a hidden shortcut from the Sistine Chapel into St. Peter’s—a perk of traveling with a pro (ahem, me!).
From there, we walked all over Rome—Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain (yes, we all threw in our coins for good luck!), and ended the day with gelato, because it’s illegal to visit Italy without eating at least one per day. 😉
🚤 Day 4: Venice – The Floating Fairytale
Next stop? Venice! A city where you don’t hear cars—just the sound of gondoliers singing as they row through the canals. Magical doesn’t even begin to describe it.
We spent the day:✅ Watching a Murano glass-blowing demonstration (and yes, we did some shopping!)✅ Enjoying an Aperol Spritz in St. Mark’s Square
✅ Taking a gondola ride at sunset—because some moments just deserve to be slow and romantic
💡 Pro Tip: If you want the best gondola experience, go at sunset and away from the busy Grand Canal for a more peaceful ride.
💘 Day 5: Verona – A Love Story in the Making
This city blew us away! We walked through Juliet’s Courtyard, touched the famous statue for good luck (Google it—it’s a thing!), and soaked up the charming medieval streets. I officially declare Verona one of the most underrated cities in Italy. Oh and their coliseum is beautiful too. Yup That's right they have their own coliseum.

📸 Day 6: Pisa – The Tower, The Laughs, The Perfect Picture
Let’s be honest—the Leaning Tower of Pisa is THE most fun landmark to take pictures with! We spent an hour trying to get the perfect “holding up the tower” shot, and let me tell you, some of us nailed it, while others… well, let’s just say it was hilarious.

🍷 Day 7 & 8: Florence & The Ultimate Italian Experience
Florence never disappoints, and this time, it delivered an extra special experience. We visited an olive oil farm in the Tuscan countryside, learned about the art of olive oil making, and then… we had a private dinner under the stars.
✨ Imagine eating homemade pasta, drinking Chianti wine, and watching the sun set over rolling vineyards. ✨
🔥 Travel Hack: Want to experience the real Tuscan countryside without the crowds? Stay on a farm just outside Florence, where the food, wine, and hospitality are next level.
We ended our Florence adventure with a visit to the Medici House, a stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, and the most breathtaking sunset view from Piazzale Michelangelo.
🍾 Day 9: A Roman Farewell & A Personal Detour

After six unforgettable nights exploring Italy, we returned to Rome for one last dinner before saying goodbye.
While my amazing clients headed home, I hopped on a plane to Istanbul—because guess what? I had a plastic surgery trip planned! But that’s a story for another post. 😉
