Some Things You Might Not Know About Walt Disney World.

Updated: Mar 7, 2023

I'm sure whenever you hear someone talk about Disney you only think about the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Well... let me tell you there is whole lot more than just theme parks. For example Walt Disney World also has 2 water parks. Walt Disney World is filled with many activities like:

-Cycling (Surrey bikes) - Bicycles for to 2-4 people. Cost is $25 per person. Available in some resorts like Disney's BoarWalk Inn, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs.

-Night Life - Besides Disney Springs you can also enjoy some night life at some Disney resorts like Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

-Cartoons Pictures - A fun way to enjoy WDW is to have a cartoon picture of yourself.

-Horse Carriages - In December they will call them "sleigh rides" The trip is around 25 minutes and costs $75. You can enjoy this activity at the Cabins in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The rest of the year it costs $55 and it is also available at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside.

-Bow and Arrow- At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort you can get bow and arrow training. Costs is $45 per person for 7+ and it is a 75 minutes class.

-Monorail Hotels -In my opinion one of the best things to do while at Walt Disney World. Visiting the hotels on the monorail track.

-Travel on the Skyliner - Another great way to visit the resorts on the Skyliner line.

-Golf - WDW has 4 golf courses.

-Rent a boat - You can rent a boat from most moderate and deluxe resorts in Walt Disney World. At some deluxe resorts you can also rent canoes or kayaks. Pricing goes from $7 to $21 for 30 minutes.

It is important to hghlight you do not need to be staying at the Walt Disney World resorts to be able to do this activities. While some of this activities do have a cost there are others that are free of charge and are very entertaining.
